A KID, A DOG, AND A MOUSE IN NEW YORK CITY!

Good Morning!

Next week, Krumbs and I are going on an adventure to New York City.  Have you ever been to New York City?  It is a big, beautiful and amazing city.  We’ll be traveling by train to Grand Central Station in New York City.  We will use subways, which are underground trains, to travel around the city.

The subway system in New York City is huge!  The stations where you catch the trains are underground and the tracks can be a home for mice, rats and many kinds of insects…even though you don’t really see them.  Krumbs and I have often wondered about the animals that live in the deep, dark tunnels of the subways and I bet author Anthony J. Langford does too because he wrote the most amazing story about a mouse living in the “Underground.”

The story is called “Underground: A Mouse Tale” and it is a new addition to the Imagination Café.  In this story, readers meet Muxie, a tiny mouse living in an underground station.  Muxie is curious about the world outside of the underground and decides to explore “the World.”  Read about Muxie’s adventure by clicking here.

Krumbs and I loved the story and just in case Mr. Langford was writing about New York City, Krumbs and I will be on the lookout for Muxie during our own adventure in New York City!  Goodbye for now….
